Improving Access to Triage Appointments
We understand from regular patient feedback that many people are finding it difficult to contact the Practice early in the morning to book a triage appointment. One of the main challenges is the high volume of calls we receive at the same time—both for urgent and non-urgent matters—which our system struggles to manage.
To help improve access to triage appointments, we are making a change to our appointment booking process:
🔹 From 1 September 2025, all routine appointment requests will only be accepted from 10:00am onwards.
This means Reception staff will not be able to book routine appointments before 10:00am. There is no need to call earlier, as these appointments will not be available before that time.
🔹 Triage appointments will continue to be available from 8:30am.
If you need urgent medical attention, please continue to contact us from 8:30am as usual.
We kindly ask all patients to respect this change and use the system as intended. By doing so, you’ll be helping us ensure that those who need urgent care can access it more easily. Thank you for your understanding and support.
